Mister Donut is rolling out a fresh new experience for residents and motorists in Marikina and nearby areas with the grand opening of its Nangka branch. This marks a major milestone: Mister Donut’s first drive-thru store in Luzon and its largest free-standing branch to date. It’s designed to bring the international Mister Donut experience closer to Filipinos, boasting a refreshed look, expanded menu, and an emphasis on freshly made offerings.
Operating from seven (7) in the morning until [twelve (12)] midnight, the Nangka location is a modern, youth-friendly hub. It features a two-floor layout with seating for around fifty (50), plus a charming al fresco dining area for those who prefer a more relaxed café vibe. Whether you’re a commuter needing a quick grab-and-go or looking for a comfy spot for barkada meetups, study sessions, or a leisurely coffee break, this store is built for today’s dynamic lifestyles.
More than just a new location, Nangka showcases Mister Donut’s exciting new direction for the brand. The store embraces the company’s evolving “brown concept“—a warmer, more premium design first seen at its Greenhills flagship. This concept is inspired by successful Mister Donut stores in markets across Southeast Asia [Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong], where the brand has become a popular café destination, not just a donut counter.
But the biggest change isn’t just aesthetic; it’s all about the product experience! Mister Donut Nangka will produce its beloved Pon de Rings fresh every day, a key move to deliver a true global Mister Donut feel. This puts the spotlight on internationally-adored favorites like the Pon de Ring, French Cruller, and other premium baked goods. The Pon de Ring, famous for its soft, chewy texture and fun toppings, is Mister Donut Japan’s No. 1 favorite and central to the brand’s international identity.
Essentially, it’s a fresh, more experiential take on the Mister Donut many Filipinos grew up with, while still keeping that familiar comfort. This transformation started with the Greenhills, San Juan flagship, which introduced the brown logo, warmer tones, and an upgraded menu beyond classic donuts and coffee. The expanded offerings now include a wider beverage lineup, from brewed coffee and milk teas to iced teas and an espresso line, catering to every taste and routine.
The diverse menu also signals Mister Donut’s foray into all-day dining. New breakfast items, like Wagyu Tapa, Gourmet Sardines, and Hungarian Sausage, offer premium yet value-driven options for guests seeking a more substantial meal with their coffee.
“The opening of the Nangka branch is part of our thrust to bring the Mister Donut international experience closer to more Filipinos,” shared Meggie Jose, Marketing and Key Accounts Director of Mister Donut Philippines. “Through larger, more inviting dine-in locations like Nangka, we want to give guests a comfortable space to relax, work, and enjoy their favorites—whether they’re coming in alone or spending time with family and friends.”
With its unmatched convenience, spacious design, late-night hours, and freshly made signature donuts, Mister Donut Nangka is poised to be more than just a quick stop—it’s a vibrant new Mister Donut destination, perfectly crafted for today’s café-loving, on-the-go crowd.
